I love my Ella...

Of course I love Ella everyday all day, but there are some days when I am just overwhelmed by how much I truly love her.... like today. Ever since I picked her up this afternoon she has laughed at me and played with me and talked to me at the top of her lungs. I love how she communicates and is so intrigued by her mommy and daddy. I love her obsession with spitting bubbles and grabbing everything in sight. I love how she smacks the keyboard as I am typing and how she shivers involuntarily when she hates a new food. I love watching her enjoy things and discover new things. I love that she LOVES animals and cannot get close enough to them. I love that the first thing she does when she wakes up is smile and I love that when her daddy whistles she puts on a huge grin. I love that she looks for mommy when she magically disappears and I love that she cuddles so close each night. I love that she is almost always happy and loves bath time. I love that she is ticklish and laughs so hard she snorts. I love that she loves watching videos of her as a newborn and laughs at other small children. I love that she reminds me of Kermie when I stare at her and reminds me of myself at the same time. I love that she is mine and God made her so perfect. These are just a few reasons why I love my Ella Chase. I pray that she knows her mommy loves her each and every day.

Happy 5 Months and First Valentine's Day!

Yesterday was Ella's five month birthday and her first Valentine's Day too! She spent the day with her Great-Nanny and Great-Grandbubby! Here are a few pictures from today and other recent pictures.





Update on Ella at Five Months:
- Ella sits up by herself for a few moments and then topples over.
- Ella loves to pull herself up to a standing position.
- Ella still loves chewing on any and everything we let her chew on.
- Ella loves to sing and dance to silly songs on the computer.
- Ella is rolling over now and has outgrown her bassinet.
- Ella loves her food and I think her favorites as of today are her prunes, sweet potatoes, pears, and bananas.
- Ella still loves to cuddle in the bed every night before she falls asleep.
- Ella is fascinated with herself in the mirror. She wants to eat it!
- Ella loves her toes!

Uncle Daniel's 21st Birthday!

Last night, my family went out for my brother's 21st birthday at Longhorn. It was filled with a lot of fun and laughs! Ella was tired most of the time, but enjoyed seeing everyone and getting so much attention from the people that worked there. Happy Birthday Uncle Daniel!!

Yucky Peas!

Today, Ella tried peas for the first time. She did not like them one bit and I think she only managed to swallow a very tiny bit! We tried them again at dinner time just to get her used to the taste and she hated them again. She still loves her pears and bananas though! I am hoping she likes the sweet potatoes a little better.



We also took Ella over to Jack and Carla's tonight for Kermie's Uncle Tony's birthday party. Ella was fascinated with his beard! Every time she moved her head it would tickle her face. It was very funny :)
