Christmas Tree, Thanksgiving, A New Car

I have been really terrible about blogging the past several weeks, so I am doing all my catching up today!  We put our tree up about two weeks ago so I wanted to show you some of the shots we got of Ella.  She had a lot of fun and loves the tree (especially all the presents under it)!

Thanksgiving this year was a little different for us in that we didn't go as many places as we normally do.  We went to Geoff and Jackie's house for lunch and then went to my grandma and grandpa's house for dinner.  Ella and Ava had so much fun together!  And, Ella ate enough at both places for someone my size :)  It was a lot of fun--it makes me even more excited for Christmas!

It is annual tradition for my mom and I to go shopping on Black Friday, so once again we went today and this time Ella went along.  I was a little apprehensive at first about how she would do, but she was a perfect angel (no exaggeration!).  We went to Target first where we spent at least 45 minutes in line and were even interviewed for the news! HAHA We both agreed that they interviewed us because we were the only crazy people with a 14 month old tagging along! Ella napped while we were at the mall and we were able to finish all of our shopping!  I had bought Ella a Dora car for Christmas today, but decided to go ahead and give it to her!  She loved it :)   My mom bought her this year's christmas dress so we go tomorrow for pictures!  I can't wait to see how they turn out :)

Look At Me!

Ella has been going crazy with all her words lately.  It seems like she learns something new everyday.  I tried to get her to say a few things tonight at dinner, but it didn't last too long.  So, here are just a few of the new things she LOVES to say!  Enjoy :)

A Terrific Weekend

So... this past weekend was terrific!  On Friday, Lynsie and Robert came in to visit.  It was so nice getting to see them both and seeing how big Emmie Kate has gotten! Lynsie is a cute pregnant mommy and you can tell how excited the both of them are.  I personally enjoyed getting to share all of Ella's stuff and was excited that it would be used again.  It was kind of sad going through all of Ella's old clothes!  She has gotten so big... so fast.  On Saturday morning, Ella showed them every trick she knows.  We laughed for at least an hour at her flips, jumps, words, and weirdness!  She's a hoot for sure.  I think Ella really enjoyed getting to wake them up every morning by knocking on the door!  For lunch we met with Ashley and Brayden at Mancino's and they ended up coming down later that night.  Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing weekend and made me remember how much I wish they hadn't moved away!  We are hoping to visit Owensboro in December if all goes well.  I wasn't really good about taking pictures this weekend, :

Halloween Part Two

Yesterday, my mom took Ella trick or treating downtown Georgetown and from what I hear they had a great time and she was a hit!  She is such a social baby!  These are two pictures from their day.

Last night, my parents came over for Chili and trick or treating.  My dad and Kermie stayed back to pass out candy and ran out early!!  Mom and I took Ella up the road to the church for Trunk or Treating and then around Sadieville :)  She had so much fun and was definitely on a sugar rush by the end of the night!  Happy Halloween everyone!
